New York: In another “industry-first” in the tri-state area, organizers of North America’s premier reggae festival Irie Jamboree will stream multi-camera coverage of the 2009 concert live online at www.iriejamboree.com from the York College Outdoor complex in Queens, NY to thousands of reggae lovers globally.

The high-energy concert and online streaming starts at 1:00pm Eastern time and will feature more than ten hours of live performances and interviews with all the the top acts slated to perform including Grammy winner Sean Paul, Mr. Vegas, TOK, Assassin, Spice, Chino, Barbee, Anthony Cruz, Laden, Pinchers, Daddy Lizard, Shinehead, Flourgon, Lady G, Tony Rebel, Queen Ifrica, Bushman, Ras Shiloh, Ras Penco, Natural Blacks, Gramps Morgan, Freddy McGregor, Ken Boothe, Sugar Minott, JUNO reggae winner Humble, Steele and Tasha T. A a pre-show warm-up will begin at noon.

New York: Organisers of North America’s premier reggae festival announced yesterday that international DJ Sean Paul will be making his first major outdoor festival appearance in New York for 2009 at Irie Jamboree which takes place on Labour Day Sunday, September 6, in Queens, New York. Other acts confirmed for the festival include the high-riding Fyah Muma, Queen Ifrica, Freddy McGregor, Mr Vegas, Assassin, Laden, Spice and Chino.
